A company in China has just released the Vii, a look-a-like version of the popular Nintendo Wii. Unlike the all white Wii, the Vii comes in three colourful lead painted colours, for you to choose from.
These pictures from Endgadget shows that the Vii looks almost exactly like the Nintendo Wii except for the Chinese letters and some minor design details.
On the left, the Nintendo Wii. On the right, the Vii.
The Vii also comes in two different colours. The blue and the pink.

At this moment, there doesn't seem to be any review of the system so I don't know if it actually functions like the Wii or if it only merely looks like the Wii.
No matter what, this is just more bad press that China does not need right now as they're gearing up for the Olympics. Why would anyone buy counterfeit products when even legitimate products produced by big companies like Mattel was forced to recall their products due to the lead paint?
